"This is only a test"

Well, we're still here. Tied up again in our slip in Wickford. We ran down the bay, but when we came out from behind beaver tail, the weather gods said "Not today, junior!". We caught a few very steep six footers on the beam, saw 24 kts on the anemometer, and decided to turn right around. If it was just down-swell, we could have swung it. But 8 miles with it on the beam (until we got around point Judith) would have broken something.

It was a great "shakedown". No problems arose. And upon our return, we changed the oil, which I was hoping to do at one of our first stops.
