The long trick.

"...And quiet sleep and a sweet dream when the long tricks over" John Masefield

How about 135 miles in a day. Starting at Sandy hook, we ran outside and down the coast to Cape May, went through the Cape May canal, and up the Delaware to the funky little town of Bivalve, new Jersey.

A rough idea, with way too many waypoints.

Another sunrise offshore. "Because every one is different" -Wade's mom

Not a bad view for the morning coffee. Especially at 12 kts.

Yes folks, they are what you think they are: Real New York bagels! (Thanks Mom!)

A little birdy! We had a hitchhiker come along for a mile or two. He didn't want any bread crumbs.

Some absolutely amazing weather. Holy moly, what a day.

Having fueled up, we continued through the Cape May canal, into the Delaware bay.

The quaint town of Bivalve, nj. Just don't get down wind. WOW!  There are a lot of dead clams in there. We're going to check it out more, tomorrow. Depending on how late we sleep.

Bivalve did put up a nice sunset, just for us! Ain't she a beaut!?
